Minors bid for four from five
June 25, 2009
Offaly's minor footballers face Dublin in Tullamore on Saturday, bidding to reach a fourth Leinster MFC final in five years.
However, the Faithfuls have still gone 20 years without a provincial title at this level, so Declan McGovern's charges are just two hours away from making history.
Since losing their opener to Meath, Offaly have accounted for Longford, Louth and Wicklow to take their place in the last four.
Dublin demonstrated remarkable physical prowess in their demolition of Louth in particular and they will - as ever - provide stern opposition.
But with a consistent 60-minute performance, Offaly are capable of winning out at O'Connor Park on Saturday evening (5.30).
