Race on to fill Todd role

The race to fill the Offaly GAA central council delegate position begins this week after Christy Todd decided to step down from the role recently. Todd has served as County Board secretary in the past has spent the last two years as a central council delegate, but has signalled his intentions that he won't be going forward this year. Already nine people have been nominated to fill the position including county board chairman Pat Teehan, former chairman Ollie Daly and All-Ireland winner Padraig Horan, just to name a few. However, it remains to be seen how many will go forward when the county convention takes place in Tullamore on Tuesday, December 2nd.
