Two sides hoping to pick up provincial titles will be action this weekend as both Birr and Rhode begin their campaigns with tricky ties. Defending Leinster champions Birr travel to Parnell Park, Dublin where they will face a Ballyboden St Enda's side that they narrowly defeated in last year's final. This will be a tough match for Birr as the Dublin side will feel they have a great chance of advancing and the Offaly outfit may be at their best in order to advance. Portlaoise make the trip to Tullamore to take on Rhode and they are an experienced side that reached the All-Ireland club final in 2004 when Ballina defeated them. Tweet
