Corrigan turns attention to league decider

Clontibret manager Dom Corrigan admits that it will be hard to lift the players for the senior league final.

The Monaghan champions made their exit from the Ulster club SFC at the semi-final stage last weekend and now they have to turn their attention to the league final.

And Corrigan told the Northern Standard that lifting the players after their defeat to Slaughtneil will not be easy.

"It will be hard to lift them because a win last Sunday would have left us going through to the final of the Ulster club championship which would have been a great boost, but listen we have no complaints," said Corrigan.

"As I said, the better side won on the day and we now have to turn our attention to and try and focus on the semi-final of the senior football league."
