The hoganstand.com football team of the week. INPHO
Dublin dominate our football team of the week with seven representatives while Donegal and Armagh have five and three respectively.

1. Stephen Cluxton (Dublin)

The Dublin captain enjoyed a relatively stress-free evening at headquarters and was his usual reliable self with his kick-outs.

2. Frank McGlynn (Donegal)

Got his hands on vital possession late on and pushed forward every time the opportunity arose.

3. Rory O'Carroll (Dublin)

Although conceding two points to Monaghan captain Conor McManus, the Dublin full-back emerged on top in his personal duel.

4. Andy Mallon (Armagh)

The ever-green defender was at his miserly best and also roamed into unfamiliar territory to get his name on the scoresheet.

5. James McCarthy (Dublin)

The flying half-back combined his defensive and attacking duties to good effect and created the opening for Bernard Brogan's goal.

6. Jonny Cooper (Dublin)

The Na Fianna clubman missed the Leinster final due to injury but he marked his return to the starting 15 with a noteworthy contribution.

7. Aaron Kernan (Armagh)

Given a free role, the experienced Crossmaglen man popped up all over the place and executed a superb point from play.

8. Neil Gallagher (Donegal)

When Donegal's backs were against the wall, the Glenswilly midfielder put his shoulder to the wheel and got them back on track.

9. Odhran MacNiallais (Donegal)

MacNiallais' shooting let him down at times but it goes without saying that his return of 1-1 was key to Donegal's narrow victory.

10. Paul Flynn (Dublin)

The workaholic half-forward was a contender for the 'man-of-the-match' accolade.

11. Michael Murphy (Donegal)

Donegal's talisman made a bigger impact when moved closer to the Armagh goals.

12. Tony Kernan (Armagh)

Kernan's intelligent play and accuracy in front of the posts put Donegal on the back foot for much of the last eight clash.

13. Alan Brogan (Dublin)

The eldest of the Brogan siblings raised three white flags from play and was a constant thorn in the side of the Monaghan defence.

14. Bernard Brogan (Dublin)

Colin Walshe made some timely interventions early on but the 2010 Footballer of the Year 's 27th minute goal put the game beyond the Farney County's reach.

15. Paddy McBrearty (Donegal)

Struggled against Andy Mallon but his perseverance paid off with two second half points, including the all-important winner.
