Cremartin celebrate with the 2011 JFL Cup
CLUB SCENE.
It has been quite a busy schedule on the club scene over the last week with a couple of rounds of matches in the senior, intermediate and junior football leagues, another round of matches in the minor football league, the last until after the junior and Leaving Certificate examinations have been completed, by which stage also Monaghan will have been out against Antrim in the Ulster minor football championship.

SFL
In the senior football league Clontibret won away at Magheracloone, Ballybay defeated Carrickmacross, Latton were too strong for Truagh at home, Monaghan Harps defeated Castleblayney and Scotstown had 11 points to spare against Currin., those games played on Friday evening last. A further round of matches was played on Sunday with Currin recovering from their defeat against Scotstown to record a two points victory over county champions Latton in Scotshouse, Monaghan Harps picked up two further points by winning away at Magheracloone, Ballybay had a goal to spare against Scotstown in a low scoring affair in Pearse Park, Castleblayney recovered from their setback against Monaghan Harps to defeat Carrickmacross by a substantial margin while Clontibret and Truagh finished all square.
IFL. There were two games played in the intermediate football league on Friday evening last that saw Corduff defeating Rockcorry in Corduff and Doohamlet winning by a goal away to Tyholland. On Sunday afternoon Corduff won away at Aughnamullen, Rockcorry proved too strong for Sean McDermotts, Doohamlet held out for a one point victory at home to Donaghmoyne while Inniskeen had a point to spare in their game away to Killanny. The other game in that round was played on Monday night last with Cremartin defeating Toome by 1-13 to 0-7 in St. Victor's Park.

JFL.
In the games that were played on Friday evening last Clones had a comfortable win at home to Drumhowan, Killanny won by a goal in their game with Eire Og, Killeevan had the narrowest of victories at home to Emyvale and Blackhill won away at Oram.
On Sunday Oram suffered their second defeat in three days when they lost by five points away to Aghabog, Killeevan failed to build on their victory over Emyvale when they were defeated by a point at Blackhill, Emyvale suffered a second defeat in successive matches when they lost at home to Clones by six points and Drumhowan held out for a two points victory at home to Killanny.

RFL.
There were two matches played in the reserve football league division 4 with Truagh getting a walkover against Killanny on Wednesday evening last and Emyvale "B" defeating Monaghan Harps "B" by five points on Saturday last.Meanwhile in the Crawley Cup the previously postponed game between Aghabog and Fergal O'Hanlons failed to materialize with O'Hanlons conceding.

MFL.
There was a full round of matches in all three divisions in the minor football league on Tuesday evening last May 15th, the final round until after the break for the Junior and Leaving Certificate examinations. In division 1 there were victories for Carrickmacross over Clontibret, Scotstown over C'Blayney and Magheracloone over Killanny. In division 2 Magheracloone picked up the points away at Cremartin, Latton had a comprehensive victory over Sean McDermotts, Donaghmoyne won away at Truagh and Emyvale ran up the biggest score of the evening, 7-14, in defeating Rock Sarsfields in Killeevan. In division 3 Cuchulainn Sarsfields and Blackhill played out a high-scoring draw, Doohamlet defeated Tyholland by eight points, St Patrick's defeated Inniskeen in Ballybay and Corduff had eight points to spare over St Tiarnachs in Smithboro. The next round of matches in the minor football league are scheduled for Tuesday, June 26th.

HURLING.
The round of matches that was played in the Development Hurling league on Thursday evening last, May 10th sorted out the semi-final pairings after Clontibret defeated Inniskeen in a high-scoring game in Grattan Park, Monaghan Harps defeated Castleblayney and Knocks Grattans were awarded a walkover against Carrickmacross. The semifinals will be played this evening Thursday, May 17th, with both games at 7:30 p.m.; Castleblayney at home to Clontibret and Monaghan Harps with home advantage over Inniskeen. In the minor hurling league on Sunday last Emmet Grattans recorded an away six points victory over Castleblayney while Cootehill Celtic proved too strong for Clontibret. Meanwhile at county level Monaghan have an opportunity to make amends for last Saturday's defeat by Donegal when they play Roscommon this Saturday at 2.30pm for a place in the semi finals. Throw-in in Athleague is at 2.30pm.

FIXTURES.
Its a fairly limited programme this weekend with a game in each of the intermediate and junior football leagues tomorrow evening Friday May 18th. There are also matches in the O'Duffy Cup and the Crawley Cup spread over the weekend. Saturday sees just one game in the reserve football league division three .On Sunday there is also action in the reserve league divisions 3 and 4. There were games in the reserve leagues played last night Wednesday with the programme for the weekend getting under way tomorrow evening Friday with a game in the intermediate football league between Sean McDermotts and Donaghmoyne in Threemilehouse at 7:45 p.m., the same time that Killeevan take on Aghabog in one of those traditional local derbies in the junior football league in Killeevan.

RFL
On Saturday Inniskeen are at home against Truagh in the reserve football league division 3 with a 6:30 p.m. start while on Sunday in division 4 at 2 p.m. Aghabog are at home to Fergal O'Hanlon's and Blackhill are away at Toome.

O'DUFFY CUP.
Tomorrow evening Friday May 18th sees two games in the O'Duffy Cup, both at 7:30 p.m. Latton at home to Magheracloone and Scotstown away to Monaghan Harps.
There are two games on Sunday in the O'Duffy Cup both at 2 p.m. Castleblayney at home to Corduff and Killeevan are away to Drumhowan.

CRAWLEY CUP.
In the Crawley Cup tomorrow evening , Friday at 7.30pm. Oram have home advantage over Eire Og while in the two games on Sunday, both at 2 p.m. Clones are at home against Aughnamullen and Emyvale travel to Sean McDermotts.
