SUPPORTERS CLUB NEWS.
Monaghan's inter-county season may be over with the search on for a replacement for Seamus McEnaney who has declined to go through the nomination/interview process but it is business as usual for the Monaghan GAA Supporters Club according to club PRO and merchandise manager Seamus McMeel. Speaking to the Northern Standard Seamus McMeel initially expressed his admiration for Seamus and the work he had done over the past six years and also for how helpful he had been to the Supporters Club particularly in making some of the facilities at Fiddlers Bar & Restaurant in Carrickmacross available to them on merchandising weekends. The Supporters Club will be out again this weekend as they were over the past weekend with their half-time draw at the championship matches and Seamus McMeel will have his merchandise stand at both of the junior championship semi finals on Friday and Saturday in Emyvale. Seamus is still carrying a full range of merchandise and has a new range of coats and rainwear in stock. The Supporters Club will also be holding a draw for two tickets for the All Ireland senior football championship final and cards will be circulated around the county shortly. As in previous years to enter €2 per line and there is a second prize of €100 and a third prize of €50.
