Toome GAA 6th Annual Golf Classic: The 6th Annual Toome GAA Golf Classic takes place on July 10th in Concra Wood. Four person team costs 240 including a steak dinner after your round of golf. Seniors: We travelled to Killeevan on Wednesday evening last and secured our first victory of the league after six fruitless outings on a scoreline of Toome 2-06 Killeevan 0-08. We played Emyvale at home yesterday evening (Wednesday)at 8pm. Result next week. Reserve League: The reserves suffered a defeat away to Rockcorry on Monday evening on a scoreline of Toome 0-07 Rockcorry 1-11. Our next outing is Sunday 5th July away to Fergal O'Hanlons with a throw-in time of 7pm. Reserve Championship: The reserve championship takes place on Saturday 18th July against Corduff in Corduff at 7pm. Go Games, U6, U8 & U10: Go-Games for children aged 4 - 8 every Monday 6.30 - 7.30. Children learn the basics of Gaelic games through fun and play and get the chance to make new friends and develop lots of new skills. New members always welcome. U10 blitz in Cloghan on Saturday 27th June - All players to be there by 12.15. U12s: The U12 Division 2 final v Sean McDermotts takes place in Killeevan on Saturday 4th July at 11.30am. We wish them all the very best of luck in the final and would encourage all members to come out and support the team on their big day. U12 training in preparation for the final takes place on Thursday at 7.30pm sharp. All panel members must be on the field for this time. U14s: Commiserations to the U14 squad who were beaten in their Div 3 final v Inniskeen last Saturday in Donaghmoyne. The lads got off to a good start but Inniskeen imposed their superiority in the physical stakes and went on to win out comfortable winners. Captained by Mark Connolly and Stephen Kingham, our lads never gave in and played hard to the bitter end but it wasn't to be. We would like to sincerely thank the entire panel in their wonderful achievement in getting to the final and look forward to seeing this team back in action next year in Division 2.
