Former greats in charity fundraisers

This Sunday evening July 5th in Pairc na nGael, Corduff former greats from Inniskeen, Killanny, Donaghmoyne, Carrickmacross, Magheracloone, Corduff, Aughnamullen and Sherclck will assemble and take the field to stage a charity match in aid of two very worthy causes.
The occasion will bring together some of the greats from Aughnamullen like Seamus Markey, Peadar Markey and Andrew McGarrell, from Donaghmoyne Anthony McVeigh, Raymond Marron, Seamus Finnegan and Brian Finnegan, from Inniskeen Oliver McKenna and Owen Keenan, while Peter Owen Fealy, Declan Callan, Stephen Quigley, Paraic McNally and Tommy Marron will turn out for Corduff. Killanny will supply the services of Dermot Boylan, Johnny Quinn, John Conlon and Paul Grimes while James Kierans, Raymond Farrelly, Damien Kelly and Leo Marron will represent the black and awhite of Magheracloone.
Peter Cassidy, Pat Cassidy, Jim Connolly, Peter Kelly, Terry Kiernan, Francis McDonald and Mark Downey (snr) will represent Carrickmacross, while Joey Clarke, Mickey McEntee, Brendan Brown and Brian Hamilton will travel from Shercock. The game is scheduled to start at 7 p.m. sharp with Ireland's top referee, Pat McEnaney in charge and all the proceeds will be shared between the Carrickmacross Cancer Society and the Friends of Our Lady's Hospital for Sick Children, Crumlin, Dublin.
