FIXTURES. The action this weekend in football is confined to the reserve football league with games in divisions 1, 2 and 4 on Sunday and further games in divisions 3 and 4 on Monday evening next. Wednesday next, July 1st sees a full round of matches in the Credit Union senior football league, the Conlon Coach Hire intermediate football league and the Gerry's Fresh Fruit & Veg junior football league and with Monaghan playing Armagh in the All Ireland qualifiers on Saturday next, July 4th this round of matches will be Star games. The action for the weekend though gets underway with the senior hurling and reserve hurling leagues this evening, Thursday. The reserve football league action on Saturday evening in division one sees Castleblayney at home against Latton, Inniskeen are away at Carrickmacross, Clontibret have home advantage over Truagh and Magheracloone travel to Scotstown, all for 7 p.m.. In the reserve football league division 2 Drumhowan are away against Clones, Cremartin are at home against Donaghmoyne, Tyholland travel to Doohamlet and Killeevan are away at Monaghan Harps, again all at 7 p.m.. In the reserve football league division 3 there are two games down for decision on Monday evening next with Aghabog away against Truagh and Scotstown at home against Emyvale, both at 7.00pm. In the reserve football league division 4 on Saturday evening Oram are at home against Toome and Emyvale play hosts to Killanny, both at 7 p.m., while on Monday next, June 29th in division 4 Rockcorry are away at Toome and Sean McDermotts are at home against Monaghan Harps, both at 8.00pm. Also on Monday and there are two previously un-played games in the O'Duffy Cup with Castleblayney at home against Killeevan in section B and Magheracloone playing hosts to Clontibret in section D., both at 8.00 p.m.. SFL On Wednesday next, July 1st in the Credit Union senior football league Castleblayney are at home against Scotstown, Truagh are away at Carrickmacross, Magheracloone have home advantage over Latton, Clontibret travel to Ballybay and Doohamlet have home advantage over Inniskeen, all for an 8 p.m. start. IFL In the Conlon Coach Hire intermediate football league Cremartin travel to Eire Og, Drumhowan are at home against Rockcorry, Corduff are away against Monaghan Harps, Aughnamullen play hosts to Donaghmoyne and Tyholland are at home against Aghabog, all at 8.00p.m.. In the Gerry's Fresh Fruit & Veg junior football league Killanny have a lengthy journey to Clones, Emyvale travel to Toome, Oram have home advantage over Killeevan and Blackhill will be hoping to build on their first victory last weekend when they travel to Scotshouse to play Currin, again all at 8.00p.m.. ROONEY CUP FINAL. Reigning Ulster club champions, Crossmaglen Rangers will play Glyde Rangers for Louth in the final of the Rooney Cup in Emmet Park, Carrickmacross, on Thursday evening next July 2nd with the throw-in time fixed for 7.45pm.
