Spectators (they couldn't be called supporters)

(Oldest Posts First)

Was at a match yesterday and the snide remarks from the opposition spectators were nothing short of disgusting. One of them threatened the keeper with a hurl. Why do these people go to matches, have they nothing else in their lives to do. Really sickened me to listen to it. The worst was an incident where a collision occurred where both players were committed to challenge for the ball, clash of heads, definitely one or both ended up in hospital, yet these idiots decided that our player decided to do theirs, and that he deserved everything he got.

What goes around comes around, and for these guys the quicker the better!

Yea it's never nice to see that. I'd be the first to try and slag someone off here but when players get abuse during a game from an idiot that has no talent himself/ herself is too much. They are idiots.

I wouldn't name the club as the club did nothing wrong, just a lot of the spectators. They know whothey are.

Posh, Carry On said the goalkeeper was threatened with a hurl, how did you come up with Slane as a possibility.
Carry On, I agree some spectators are unbelievable. I know most of us wear our Blue, Red, Green etc tinted glasses depending on the club but you have got to be fair about such incidents
