Gumshields at the ready and Dunderry are all set for St Colmcilles during the half time break in the IFC final

Simonstown and Donaghmore Ashbourne are the final two in the race for the hoganstand.com Meath senior football championship title. Dunderry and St Colmcilles will have to do it all over again. Duleek Bellewstown eased their relegation worries while the Fr Tully Cup made the journey to Ardcath. Here is our best XV from another busy weekend of football.

1. David Jennings, Dunderry: Kept a clean sheet and his defence very composed in front of him. His kick-outs were crucial to the Dunderry cause as the outsiders held Colmcille's to that draw.

2. Johnny Quigley, Gaeil Colmcille: Despite conceding two points from play, did a good job in curtailing Simonstown captain Padraig McKeever's contribution in the Navan outfit's semi-final success.

3. James Colgan, Donaghmore/Ashbourne: Seems to be the go-to-man for a man marking job. Last week it was Joe Sheridan and, on Sunday, the former Down footballer did a good job on stifling Paddy O'Rourke.

4. Davy Tallon, St Vincent's: A real tour de force display from the Ardcath captain. Was on hand to clean up and deny Moynalty numerous scoring chances in their Junior B final win at headquarters.

5. Shane O'Brien, St Vincent's: Produced a 'man of the match' performance as the Ardcath men saw off Moynalty in the Junior B final. Brilliant in defence and hit two very important points for the winners on their day in the sun at Pairc Tailteann.

6. Paul Gilligan, Donaghmore Ashbourne: For the second game in a row, the Moores have come to rely on his trusty left boot. Took over the free taking duties after Michael Deegan retired injured and scored four points, including a couple of crucial ones in the second half.

7. Niall Kane, Simonstown: The diminutive half-back put his team on a forward footing at every available opportunity and also got his hands on plenty of breaking ball.

8. Shane O'Rourke, Simonstown: When Simonstown's back was against the wall early in the second-half of Saturday's Pairc Tailteann clash, O'Rourke showed great leadership to help them regain control.

9. Paddy Kennelly, Dunderry: Great work rate from the Meath senior panellist. Kicked two brilliant points and made some important catches and interceptions in that entertaining draw at Pairc Tailteann.

10. Ciaran Kelly, St Colmcille's: Joint top scorer for the Cille's with four points. Two vital scores in the second half when the tide was turning against them. Baffling how he was substituted after scoring point number four.

11. Mickey Brennan, Simonstown: His arrival on the pitch in the 45th minute was a turning point in Simonstown's penultimate stage victory. The veteran forward kicked three points, including a pressure 45, during the final quarter.

12. Fionn Reilly, Gaeil Colmcille: The pace of the the Gaeil Colmcille forwards caused plenty of problems for the Simonstown rearguard and the Kells side's half-forward kicked three points from play.

13. Stephen Nolan, Duleek Bellewstown: Scored five crucial points in the opening half as Graham Geraghty's charges eased their relegation worries with an 0-11 to 1-6 win over Ballinlough in Castletown.

14. Andrew Tormey, Donaghmore Ashbourne: Finished with 1-2 in the win over Skryne. Displayed great composure when netting the game's only goal after being set up by Ciaran Ellis.

15. James Conlon, St Colmcille's: The individual performance of the weekend. Scored four points from play, set up other scores and tormented the Dunderry defence for the hour. Showed maturity well beyond his tender years.
