'Golden Boot' fits Niamh Crowe

The Meath Ladies football awards night takes place this Saturday November 21st in the Newgrange Hotel Navan.

For the first time there are 'Golden Boot' Awards for the top scorer in the Senior, Intermediate, Junior and Junior B championship.

Niamh Crowe will pick up the Intermediate championship 'Golden Boot' at the the Awards night.

The Summerhill sharpshooter finished with 6 goals and 37 points. A remarkable achievement considering that 'The Hill' were knocked out at the semi final stage. Her nearest rival was Marion Farrelly from beaten finalists St Michaels who found the back of the oppositions net no less than 11 times.

Niamh has also been nominated for Intermediate Player of the Year.
