Kilmessan carried on their winning streak this weekend adding another two points to the bag when they defeated Kiltale in the second round of the league at Kiltale

The boggy wintery conditions meant that Kilmessan were slow to start and held a slender 1-2 to 0-2 lead at the break. However the winners found their rhythm in the second half when Stephanie Horan and Maeve O'Leary found the back of the Kiltale net. Points from Kelly Gorman, Tracy King and Megan Ni Choileain furthered Kilmessans lead to see out the game. Strong performances on the day from Ailbhe Lynch, Francis Lynch and Michelle Horan helped seal victory for the Kilmessan team.
