St Patrick's senior ladies welcomed Moylagh to Stamullen in the league.

Another great win for the ladies in the 2nd game of their league. It wasn't an evening for the weak or faint hearted with the wind and rain. The home team started with the aid of the wind but it was the away team that got on the score board with an early goal. Credit to the home side they regrouped and started the score board ticking with a couple of points, still fresh from coming back from Armagh Katie Dowling went on a run and put the ball in the back of the net. Shortly after that she had the ball in the back of the net again. At the end of the half it was 2-7 to 2-1 to the home side. The 2nd half started with the home side striking the back of the net with a goal from full forward Rachel Andrews. Moylagh created chances but the defence stood strong with some vital blocks/saves from full back Monica McGuirk. A special mention to Alex Goodman, Katie Dowling and their driver who traveled straight from playing with the Meath senior ladies. Commitment of the highest order.
