Boardsmill       0-12
Moylagh          1-6

Boardsmill added their second win of the campaign following a come from behind victory over Moylagh.

With weather condition being perfect for hurling a free flowing game was produced.  As usual it was the visiting team that opened the scoring as they rattled over two quick fire points before Thomas Reilly opened the Mills account with a long range score before Conor  Darby hit a excellent point on the run. The visitors added on their third point before they claimed a maximum with a well taken goal that left Boardsmill net-minder Frank Dixon with no chance. Vinny Guy pointed a free from a tight angle before Mark Food pointed following good build up play from Boardsmill veteran Eric Cribbin. It was the men from Moylagh who claimed the last score of the half to leave the scoreboard 1-5 to 0-4 in favour of the men in green and white.

In what was a game of two halves it was Boardsmill who started brightest and the bear in the square Finn Ennis claimed possession and tried to bulldoze through for a goal only to be fouled resulting in a penalty. It was Vinny Guy who stood up to take it only to see it saved by the man from Moylagh on the line, the resulting 65 was score by Thomas Reilly to open the scoring in the second half. This was followed by a David Kealey point as he went a waltzing up the middle before scoring a point off the stick.

With the introduction of Keith Hamilton at half time he began unleashing shoulders as if they were going out of fashion, one of which did not work out for him as it was his turn to pick himself off the ground. Thomas Reilly added another free for the mill before Moylagh scored their only point of the second half to regain the lead. Following that score substitutions were made by David Troy and the changing of the game was the introduction of Cian Royston for Bernard Dingle McLoughlin. Thomas Reilly added two more points one from a free and one from play following good work and first time hurling from Mark Flood. It was ex county man Reilly that scored the remaining four points for the mill as he lost four balls from four frees hitting each of them in to the next parish. With Boardsmill looking comfortable Vinny Guy had the chance to put the icing on the Frosties as he rose like a salmon out of water to claim a ball only to turn from two yards out and kick it wide.

In what was a good second half performance from Boardsmill there were a few agricultural like tackles from David Kealey, Tom Eivors and Keith Hammilton. Best for Boardsmill were Stephan Gibbons Senior, Johnny Mitchell, Thomas Reilly, Vinny Guy, Fuzz Ennis and Supermax Royston.
