December 02, 2014

No cards of any colour for Kildalkey.

The four honorary presidents of the County Committee, Brian Smyth, Fintan Ginnity, Pat O'Neill and Mick O'Brien, were all present at the annual convention and were welcomed by chairman Conor Tormey.

After being elected as assistant treasurer, Jim Mullery paid tribute to fellow clubman Oliver Harding who is stepping aside after attending meetings for nearly five decades. "Oliver has had a great passion for the games over the years," said Mullery.

In the disciplinary report from the CCC to convention it was noted that four clubs, Curraha, Drumree, Kildalkey and Moynalvey received no cards of any colour in 2014.

A motion proposing that the officers elected / appointed shall hold office until the conclusion of the conclusion of the next annual convention with the exception of the chairperson who shall hold office for a minimum of three years to a maximum of five years was passed and will to congress.

However, a Walterstown motion proposing that full names of players may be written in either Irish or English failed to get a seconder.
