A first half scoring spree which yielded 4 goals, including a hat trick from Saran O Fionnagáin left Tones in a commanding position at half time and saw them take a 4-07 to 0-05 lead in to the interval.
The second half exchanges were much more evenly contested but the seaside outfit had left themselves too much to do and were unable to claw back the deficit.
