IFC: Dunderry make it three from three

Dunderry made it three wins from three outings with a hard earned victory over Ballinabrackey in the Meath IFC at Summerhill.

After wins over Longwood and Kilmainham, Dunderry were made to fight all the way to earn this victory. Stephen Coogan was the hero of the hour kicking eight points of the winners total.

The winners welcomed back Paddy Kennelly from injury. The sides were level at the break 0-5 each. Coogan sent over all of Dunderry scores while Michael Kearney, Damien Carroll (2), Seamus Curry and Chris O'Connor replied for the Bracks.

Points from Kearney, O'Connor and Nicky Judge pushed Ballinabrackey 0-8 to 0-6 ahead after 15 minutes of the second half. But Judges' point proved to be their last score. Simon Carty, introduced as a substitute, and Damien Clarke levelled the game before Coogan sent over two good scores to clinch victory for Stephen O'Rourke's charges.
