On Saturday evening Trim GAA welcomed the boys from Clongowes Wood College. The purpose of the boys visit was to play the Trim U14 and U16 teams in football challenge matches, Managers David McGuinness and CJ Murtagh lined our the Trim teams against the collage.

Clongowes is traditionally a stronghold of Leinster and Irish rugby and has produced many irish international players in the past and i am sure will in the future.

The collage is not noted for its GAA football achievement but never the less line out two teams that play matches after the rugby season has finished. To their credit the collage are keeping our national sport alive and kicking.
