Kilmessan Camogs record fourth win

Kilmessan recorded their fourth win in the senior championship with a comfortable win over Na Fianna on Tues evening. Kilmessan got off the blocks early and never looked back leading at half time by seven points. Niamh Kirby getting Na Fianna's only first half score from a 30m free.

In the second half things got worse for Na Fianna as the Kilmessan forwards upped the tempo scoring 4-5 from play with again Kirby scoring Na Fianna's only second half point from a free.

Tara Murphy at corner forward was player of the match for Kilmessan scoring an impressive 2-3 from play, others to shine were Alison and Ailbhe Lynch in defence and Tracy King in midfield who negated the threat of county player Claire Coffey.

Next up for Kilmessan is the third round of the senior league where Kilmessan will take on rivals Trim in what will be a close encounter.
