Cortown got their league campaign back on track with a comfortable victory over Slane.

Cortown adapted best to the wet and slippery conditions and produced some excellent moves which resulted in 1-9 in the first half with the goal coming from Colm Kerrigan in the 19th minute. Half Time Cortown 1-9 Slane 1-0.

Cortown started the second half as they ended the first and further goals from Gary Coyne, Brian Faulkner and David Wright adding to futher points from Kerrigan and Glen Loughran Cortown ran out easy winners.

Best for Cortown were Colm Kerrigan, Brian Casserley, Gary Coyne and Richie Flanagan.
