Clonard bounced back from a disappointing defeat the previous week to get the better of Boardsmill in AFL, Div 4 Round 4 at Boardsmill.

Early points from Bernard Reilly (0-2) set the pace followed with scores from Niall Walsh (0-3), Joey Darby(0-3), Ken Darby(0-1) but Boardsmill hit back with 1-6 to level at the break.

Clonard made a bright start to the second half with Peter McNevin kicking two points while excellent defending from Eoin Treacy, Alan Farrell and Conor Foley kept the hosts at bay as Clonard finished stronger to seal the win.
