Bective opened their Division 3 league campaign with an efficient performance which yielded both points against Ratoath.
Both sides traded points early in the game but Bective led at half-time on a scoreline of 2 - 3 to 0 - 4 thanks to two well taken goals
In the second half Ratoath got back on level terms having dominated around the middle of
the field. However, Bective to their credit finished the stronger adding two points near the end to earn the win.
