In what was a evenly contested start to the game St Vincent's opened the scoring with a point from Tommy Field after 8 minutes.

It took until the 20th minute for Boardsmill to register their first point. Tommy Field then added a second point for St Vincents to put them back in front before Boardsmill finished off the first half with two points to go in at half time leading 0-3 to 0-2

St Vincents began the second half the better team and retook the lead with a well worked goal scored by Sean Og Travers. Sean Og then scored a point to put Vincent's three points up. It looked like the Ardcath men would pull away but they allowed Boardsmill to get back into it with a point to leave 2 points in it with ten minutes left. Boardsmill were putting pressure on but St Vincents finished out the game with three points all from Tommy Field.

Best for St Vincents were Steven Creed, Kieran Sheridan and Tommy Kearns.
