Meath trainer steps down
August 24, 2010

Sean Kelly
The Meath footballers are on the lookout for a new trainer following Sean Kelly's decision to step down after just one year's involvement.
Kelly, who was also a selector, has informed manager Eamonn O'Brien that he does not wish to be considered for the backroom team in 2011. O'Brien, who has yet to confirm his own future with the Royals, added Kelly to his management team after Colm Brady opted out this time last year, and was believed to be highly thought of by the players.
A former player with Dunderry who managed Navan O'Mahonys to a Meath SFC title success in 2008, Kelly is believed to be taking time out from the game to concentrate on furthering his studies.
