Saturday 14th of Augaust marks a unique and special occasion for Nobber GAA club. As representatives of Meath, they compete against Irvinestown of Fermanagh in the first round of the immensly popular RTE series 'Celebrity Bainisteoir'.

Nobber's celebrity is Rath Cairn native and RTE icon Ms Bláthnaid Ní Chofaigh.

Bláthnaid has shown great enthusiasm since she was first introduced to the team six weeks ago. She, along with former Dublin All Star Ciaran Whelan and Meath legend Bernard Flynn have been instrumental in preparing the team for saturdays televised match.

Having gained home advantage, Saturday's match will bring great excitement to the north Meath village. The teams next televised training session takes place in Rath Cairn at 6pm August 11th.

In what promises to be a momentus occasion for Meath club football,we would like to invite all Meath GAA fans to come and show their support for the club.
