The game was virtually over at half time, with the victors having built a ten point lead (1-11 to 0-4), David Quirke getting the goal. The impressive Quirke completed his hatrick of goals scoring a further two goals in the second half thus sealing a well deserved victory. Paul Connell, David Murtagh, Kevin O Rourke and Quirke were most impressive for the victors, who now have two wins out of three.
