The Mayo GAA U14 Hurling Development Squad were in action in Scarden Centre in Sligo recently where they took part in the National Academy Hurling Day. The team played games against Roscommon, Donegal, Sligo and Longford on the day in a five team round robin blitz. The players on the team are drawn from clubs Westport, Tooreen, Caiseal Gaels, Castlebar, Ballina, Ballyhaunis and Claremorris. The squad are now preparing for their All-Ireland Blitz Day which will be held on Saturday 27th August at a venue to be announced.

Round2: Mayo 7-9 Sligo 0-5

Round3: Mayo 3-7 Donegal 0-3

Round4 MayoB 3-4 Longford 4-3
