Castlebar Mitchels forward Danny Kirby admits that anything less than a performance for 60 plus minutes will not be good enough to defeat Corofin in the Connacht club SFC final.

The Mayo champions meet the defending provincial and All-Ireland club champions at Pearse Stadium on Sunday afternoon.

And Kirby who has been in excellent form on front of goal this year knows that they will have to play better than they have in the campaign so far this year.

"We're playing the All-Ireland champions in their back yard so it's not going to be an easy task. We have to play for the full game too," Kirby told the Western People.

"Against Clann na nGael we only played in little fits and bursts, thankfully we had got a few early goals, but as an overall performance it was very poor and if we play like that against Corofin we'll be blown out of the water.

"We have to concentrate on ourselves and try and improve what we can bring to the table."
