Ballintubber goalkeeper Brendan Walsh is looking forward to Sunday's Connacht club final meeting with Corofin.

Walsh point out that the Mayo champions have worked very hard to get to this stage and believes they have a great chance of securing the Shane McGettigan Cup:

"We're looking forward to it," he notes in the Western People. "We want to play at the top of our game and if we do we'll be there or thereabouts.

"We've put in a huge effort this year and are determined to leave it all on the pitch on Sunday. The last two seasons were poor from our point of view so we really put our minds to it this year.

"We just got on with it and it paid off. We've had a great season and we can't wait for Sunday's match to come."
