Gilvarry in no rush

Mayo minor manager Enda Gilvarry will take his time before deciding on whether to remain at the helm for another year.

Gilvarry has completed two years as minor manager, winning the All-Ireland title in his first year in the job.

However, this year's Mayo campaign came to an end last Sunday when Kerry defeated the Connacht side in the All-Ireland semi-final.

"Ah, we'll have to wait and see," said Gilvarry when asked by the Mayo News. "Can't argue with the result. I thought our guys, though, fought extremely hard. They played well, but under an awful lot of pressure."

He added: "We came very hopeful and expecting to win, the boys have worked extremely hard all year. They put in a huge effort, our full back line was extremely good, and it just typified the hard work and commitment of those guys and the spirit of Mayo minors. Very proud of them," he concluded.
