Enda Gilvarry insists Mayo have plenty to work on, despite registering a 13-point victory over Armagh in yesterday's All-Ireland MFC quarter-final.

Goals from Brian Reape (two) and Fionan Duffy eased the Tom Markham Cup holders to a win that leaves them just one game away from another All-Ireland final appearance (they will face the winners of today's quarter-final between Kerry and Kildare in the last four).

"There were positives, but there were also negatives," the Mayo manager said.

"The positives were the scoreline, the work-rate and the amount of chances we created. The negatives would be that we didn't take all the chances. We also coasted in the last 10 minutes when we probably won't get the chance to coast in again."

Gilvarry's Armagh counterpart Paul Doyle was suitably impressed by the All-Ireland champions.

"Mayo have the potential to go and win it again, you never know where this journey will take them," he said.

"Today's game probably didn't do them much good because of the scoreline. They probably would have liked it tighter, but they're in the All-Ireland semi-finals and that was the target this morning."
