James Horan insists Mayo are taking it one game at a time after completing a four-in-a-row of Connacht SFC titles.

After losing the last two All-Ireland finals, Mayo are hoping it will be a case of third time lucky this year, but Horan stressed they aren't looking beyond the next game.

"A quarter-final in Croker is as much as we want at the moment and we will go and play as well as we can in that one and see what happens," the Mayo manager said after the 3-14 to 0-16 victory over Galway.

"I'm delighted and very proud to win four Connacht titles, very proud of that achievement as are all the players. Regardless of anything else, winning four on the trot and beat every team on every occasion is something we are extremely proud of and we're delighted with the victory.

"You always try and change things and tweak things and see does it give you a different outcome. We struggled against Roscommon and we did a lot of things better today."
