Gilvarry focused on provincial decider

Mayo minor manager Enda Gilvarry is not looking beyond the Connacht final following his side's traumatic win over Galway in the semi final last weekend.

For the second year running, the sides produced a classic encounter and once again, it was Mayo that came out on top, this time courtesy of a pointed free by their captain Cian Hanley.

Now, the defending champions take on Roscommon in the provincial decider and already there is talk of them going all the way and retaining their All-Ireland crown.

However, Gilvarry is certainly not looking any further than the Connacht final on Sunday, July 13th.

"We won't look beyond the Connacht final. We have so much work to do. We'd like to defend our Connacht title," Gilvarry told the Mayo News.

"Galway were an excellent team. They really fought to the bitter end and, but for a bit of luck on our side, the result might have been different."
