O'Mahony receives triple boost

Mayo manager John O'Mahony
Mayo boss John O'Mahony is set to welcome back three of his most experienced players for this Sunday's vital National Football League match against Dublin at Castlebar.

Both Conor Mortimer and Alan Dillon are available for selection again after returning from their travels in the southern hemisphere over the winter, while captain Trevor Mortimer has returned from the four-week suspension he picked last month.

Speaking to the Irish Sun, former All-Star Dillion says he's hungrier than ever for success this year with his county.

"March is going to be vey busy, very competitive. We have four games and I think John is going to need his full squad to choose from," he said.

"Between injuries and suspensions I might get an opportunity and, if I do, I'll do my best. I'm probably more driven this year."

Meanwhile, Mark Ronaldson, who had been leading in the scoring stakes for Mayo whilst Dillion and Mortimer were away on their travels, will make a second attempt to appeal the four-week ban handed down to him by the CCCC at Croke Park tonight after he's failed to attend a hearing last week.
