Na Piarsaigh club notes

Na Piarsaigh opening game of Division two league took place on A glorious sunny day at the rock with the visitors being St Brides. With Both side fielding young sides it was the St Brides who started the strongest with 3 unanswered points before a Mark Larkin free for the home side.
With some great scores from play from the brides from Aaron Hoey and Kevin Hearty and Niall Mackin the brides led at half time with a score of 11 points to 5.
Again at the start of Second Half the Brides started strongest with another 2 unanswered scores before mark Larkin Fortunate goal from a 45. St brides then got a good point from the impressive Paddy Reilly before their keeper Alan Meegan made a great save from a good move from Na Piarsaigh ending in Gary O'Hare being denied.
After this missed chance Na Piarsaigh Heads seemed to go down and with 3 more unanswered points St Brides eased their way to the Final Whistle with each side getting one more point each.
So with a final score of Na Piarsaigh 1-7 St Brides 0-17 this was a disappointing start to Na Piarsaigh league campaign and a confidence boosting start from the Brides.
For the Home side the young players Stephen McGuiness and Tim Egan and Daniel Berry tried hard With Gary O'Hare and the free Taking Ability of Mark Larkin Helping.
The Brides had some standout Performances in Centre back Paddy Reilly and forwards Aaron Hoey Kevin Hearty and Conaill Devin with Ray kelly impressive as well.
