Louth pair Mick Fanning and Brian White will be available for the national football league.

White missed all of last year due to his travels while Fanning only returned for the championship, but manager Peter Fitzpatrick has confirmed that he'll have both players at his disposal this year.

Fanning returned to home soil earlier this week, and White - who featured in the latter stages of last year's county SFC with Cooley Kickhams - is due back the first weekend in February.

The duo will be a welcome addition to the Wee County, who have Paddy Keenan, Shane Lennon and Sean Connor all on the treatment table at present. Tweet
