There were wry smiles on the faces of the Newtowncashel players when they were finally introduced to their Celebrity Bainisteoir, model Rozanna Purcell.

It was a case of the cat that got the cream as the players gave a resounding yes to the model's appointment as their manager for the latest series of the RTE show.

The 21-year-old former Miss Ireland was introduced to the squad last Sunday and she immediately left an impression on the players.

Purcell will now begin training the side in preparation for their first match, which is to take place in the coming weeks. Tweet
