Lotto 21st May 2012: The numbers drawn were 1, 3, 22 & 23. There was one match three winner. He is Mike Hanly from Lanesboro and he wins 75 euro. Next week's jackpot is 13,200 euro and the draw will be held in Leavy's.
We are currently organising a 10k fundraising run which will be held in Kenagh on Sunday June 24th. Sponsorship cards are available and can be got from any member of the club committee. The cost of entry is 10 euro and refreshments will be provided after the event. We would urge everybody to come along and join in on the day. Well done to our Reserve League team who had a great win against Grattan Og on Friday last. The lads are going really well in this competition and are still in with a good chance of progressing to the final. Well done to all involved.
Hard luck to John Gill & Rory Connor who were part of the Longford Minor team who were defeated by a good Dublin side in the Minor Championship last Saturday. The lads played really well this year and represented the club & community brilliantly.
Well done to the Longford Senior team who beat Laois in the first round of the Leinster Championship last Sunday. This was a great performance by the team and hopefully there will be a few more Sundays in the Leinster championship for Longford this year.
Our Under-14's are playing in the final this Tuesday evening (24th) @7:30pm in Ardagh. We really urge all members of the community to come out and support the lads. BEst of luck to the team and well done to all for getting this far. Tweet
