Scrap Saturday: Colmcille G.F.C. are hosting a Scrap Metal collection in aid of the club. If you have some scrap that you would like to donate please bring it to the Glenview Lounge on Saturday, Feb. 4th from 9am to 6pm. If you are unable to bring it on the day please do not hesitate to contact Sean: 087 6992012, John: 085 7322857 or Marie: 087 9032887 and we'll collect it for you. We hope that everyone in a position to do so will support the effort.

As part of an initiative to help promote the Irish Language within the G.A.A. and the wider community Longford County Board are offering grants of €250 to students to attend Gaeltacht courses. Applicants must be 13 years of age on 1st January 2012 and will be selected by interview in February/March. Closing date for applications is 3rd February. Yearly and half yearly lotto subscriptions are available from any executive member. These subscriptions represent excellent value and ensure that you are included in every lotto draw for the year.

Club membership of €30 is now due and is payable to any executive member.

Lotto results from 22nd Jan are as follows: Numbers drawn were 1, 16, 28 and 30. €20 winners were John Flanagan, Aughacordrinan, Patrick Gray, Drumhaldry, Brian Sheridan, Granard and John Sheridan, Granard.

There was no winner of the Jan 29th Lotto draw. Numbers drawn were 1, 12, 18 and 23. €20 winners were Thomas McNally, Rathmore, Jimmy Halpin, Longford, Michael Francis McKeon, Smear and The Gormley Family, Smear. Next week's jackpot is €2,800. Team 5 are on duty.
