All members look forward to a positive 2012 both on and off the field for Rathcline GAA. Thanks must go to all members of last year's executive, particularly those who decided not to stand for re-election this year.

The club are delighted to announce the appointment of Enda Macken as the new manager of the senior team for the forthcoming year.

Membership Fees are now due, standing at €50 for playing members and €20 for non-playing members. Players are to give their money to Brendan Rhatigan within the next two weeks and non-playing members are to give theirs to Denis Crinnigan or Peter Skelly.

Congratulations to Shannon Gaels and their Scór team, whose novelty act competed in the Leinster Final held in Ballymore, Westmeath on Sunday last. The performance was entitled "The Reluctant Footbaler" and the team performed brilliantly, by all accounts they were unfortunate not to win. The team comprised of Shane Kenny, Lauren Guinan, Stephen Tobin, Anna Peters, Laura Peters, Andrew Ward, Dearbhail Flood and Niall Keane. The team will perform the sketch again in St Mary's Hall this Saturday night, prior to the show "The Pitch".

Finally, Rathcline GAA extend our deepest sympathies to club player Tony Mulligan after the recent death of his grandmother. The club's thoughts are with Tony and all of his family at this time.
