Killashee St Brigid's star Darren Reilly has been named the 2011 Intermediate club Player of the Year.

Reilly was outstanding throughout the year and thoroughly deserves the accolade. He received his award at the Longford GAA All-Stars Gala Presentation function at the Rustic Inn, Abbeyshrule last Saturday night.

The junior award went to Paul Stuart of Moydow Harpers, while Longford Slashers' Eoin Donnellan picked up the Hurler of the Year award.

In ladies football, Jacinta Brady of Killoe was the recipient of the award in this category. Tweet
