The club held a very successful dinner dance last weekend. Presentations were made to Player of the Year, John Paul Reilly, Joint Club Persons of the Year and to the 1986 intermediate champions and management team by Jimmy Fox who was the County Board Vice Chairperson at the time. A presentation was made to Marie O'Reilly Keenan for her efforts as club chairperson. Mary McKeon was presented with a bouquet of flowers for her fantastic photography and her excellent presentation which ran throughout the event. The club also presented Michelle Farrell with a voucher in recognition of her being named Leinster Young Player of the Year. The ladies club then presented medals to the squad that won the Leinster league and the intermediate championship. They also made presentations to Michelle Farrell, Barbara Jones and Phil Mulligan. Myles Reilly was the man with the mic and, as usual, he didn't slag off anyone! We thank him for his efforts on the night. The club would like to thank everyone for their support of the event and all the invited guests for attending and making the night a memorable one. We would also like to thank the Breffni Arms Hotel for the use of their venue and providing a fine meal. Thanks also to the Dance On Band for providing excellent entertainment. Finally we must thank the organising committee for their huge efforts in making the event such a success.
