This year's Morrison's Bar & Lounge Ballysimon Road City senior football championship final will be the meeting of St. Patrick's and Monaleen following Monaleen's two point victory 1-11 to 0-12 over Claughaun at Childers Road Monaleen will be going for their third City senior football title following victories over Na Piarsaigh in 2010 and St. Patrick's in 2011. The City board are now down to the semi finals in both junior A & B football leagues

following the final round games taking place last week in the Patsy Nicholas Bar Gerald Griffin St. City junior B football league we had victories for Patrickswell on the Tuesday evening when they defeated Ballinacurra Gaels by 2-08 to 2-04 but then on Thursday evening Patrickswell came second best to St. Patrick's when this time round they were beaten by 2-18 to Patrickswell's 0-02. On this Thursday evening at 7.30pm the four semi finals will take place in the Patsy Nicholas Bar Gerald Griffin St. City junior B football league semi finals we have St. Patrick's facing Ballinacurra Gaels at Monaleen while in the other semi final the meeting of Claughaun and Patrickswell will go ahead at Clarina in the Morrison's Bar & Lounge Ballysimon Road City junior A football league semi finals we have Na Piarsaigh taking on Kildimo/Pallaskenry at Mungret with a 7pm start while over at Ballinacurra the mouth-watering clash of Mungret and Monaleen will take place throw in for this meeting will be at 7.30pm. On this Tuesday evening the first of the semi final of the D.J. Daly Champion Hurley's City junior A hurling league will be take place following the final rounds of the league when we had victories for Crecora over Mungret 4-16 to 1-04 and Ballybrown over Na Piarsaigh 1-14 to 0-07 and on last Tuesday evening Crecora had a seven points to spare over St. Patrick's 3-09 to 0-10. The semi finals pairings will look as follows Ballybrown will face Crecora on this Tuesday evening at Rathbane while Patrickswell and St. Patrick's will go ahead later in the week.fixture to be confirmed. On this Monday evening the final of the Horse & Hound Bar Mulgrave St. City Junior B hurling league will take place when Monaleen will be entertaining Ballybrown at Monaleen, both these teams drew last time out when Monaleen hit 3-06 to Ballybrown 2-09. Congratulations to the Limerick senior footballers on their victory over Waterford last Sunday evening in the Munster senior football championship and now it's the turn of the Limerick Senior hurlers
