West Junior B Football Championship Group 2 Round 1

Knockaderry 3-08
Dromcollogher/ Broadford 1-12

This was a very tight game, with the goals been the difference between the sides at end of the game. Hard luck to Jim, Dinny and the players lead by Tom McGarry Captain on losing to Knockaderry, this is our first loss in the championship.

Knockaderry scored the first point of the game and then Dromcollogher/ Broadford scored the next seven points without reply from Knockaderry and these points came from: Timmy O'Carroll, John O'Kelly 2 points each, Colm Meaney, Paul Madigan, Niall O'Brien a point each. Knockaderry scored the next 2-1 without reply from Dromcollogher/ Broadford to take the lead once again. Colm Meaney of Dromcollogher/ Broadford scored the next point of the game just before half-time to bring sides back on level terms for the second time in the game. To the score at half-time Dromcollogher/ Broadford 0-08 to 2-2.

Dromcollogher/ Broadford scored the 1-2 without reply from Knockaderry to take the lead once again with the goal coming Paul Madigan from a penalty and both points coming from Naill O'Brien and then Knockaderry scored another pointed free. Paul Madigan then scored another point for Dromcollogher/ Broadford. Knockaderry scored the next 1-2 without reply from Dromcollogher/ Broadford to take the lead once again. Liam Buckley of Dromcollogher/ Broadford scored the equalising point to bring sides back on level terms for the third time during the game. To leave the score at full-time Knockaderry 3-8 to Dromcollogher/ Broadford 1-12.

U16 All County Hurling Championship Division 2B Round 4

Our U16 Hurlers have a great win over Patirckswell on the night they played with great pride and heart in the Dromcollogher/ Broadford Jersey on last Monday night, played down in Dromcollogher and they won a scoreline of 2-8 to 0-7, they have played four games in the group stages of the Championship and won three just puts us into a great position go into the break for the exams.
