Lee and Sheehan back for Treaty

Limerick football boss Maurice Horan has been boosted by the return of Tom Lee and Mike Sheehan from overseas.

With just over a week to go to the Munster SFC opener against Waterford, the pair's return to the fold provides a timely boost, especially in light of the news that John Galvin is unlikely to play any part in the championship. Lee, who could take Galvin's place at midfield against the Deise, returned from Australia last week, while Sheehan is also back on home soil after completing college exams in the US.

Ballylanders clubman Lee immediately joined up with the panel and saw action as a substitute in last weekend's challenge match against Laois at the Gaelic Grounds.

"Tom was given a programme for training that he was working on and was doing some training with a GAA club over there," Horan explained to The Limerick Leader.
