Patrickswell will now face Monaleen in the semi final of the Horse & Hound Bar Mulgrave St. City Junior B hurling championship following their big victory over Kildimo 4-13 to 0-04 in the final round robin game of the league stages of the championship. Mungret will face Kildimo in the other semi final both semi finals will take place on Sunday 12th September 12 noon. On this Friday evening both finals of the Naughton's Fuel & Oil Annacotty City minor football championships will take place, in the division one final the meeting of St. Patrick's and Na Piarsaigh will go ahead in Monaleen while the division two final between Monaleen and Killulta Gaels will take place at Cahirdavin, both finals will have a 6.45pm throw in. In the Patsy Nicholas Bar Gerald Griffin St City Junior A hurling championship the final game of
league stages will take place at Clarina on this Saturday evening when St. Patrick's and Na Piarsaigh will battle it out for the final two points that will be on offer, even though both clubs are already in the semi finals which will take place over the next couple of weeks, both teams will not want to lose their final game the other two hurling semi finalist are Ballybrown and Crecora. Ballybrown who last weekend finished off their league campaign with a very convincing 5-18 to 0-11 victory over Pallaskenry and also to end a disappointed season for Pallaskenry. The J.J. Kenneally sponsored City under 21 football championship will kick start on Tuesday next September 7th with two games Claughaun will be home to Killulta Gaels while Monaleen will host Na Piarsaigh St. Patrick's meanwhile will have a bye on the night. The next board meeting will take place on this Monday evening 6th September at the Woodfield house hotel Ennis Road at 8.30pm.
