Patrickswell GAA Notes
March 08, 2010
Patrickswell GAA Club was delighted with the success of its Nob Nation fundraiser in The Woodlands last week. It was a fantastic evening of laughs and music. Many thanks to Oliver Callan, Free Beer, the hotel staff and everyone who supported this major event. Your generosity is extremely important to the club.
If you want to receive the club s text messages, please send an SMS with your name and mobile phone number to 087-1448721. Please note that this is the new mobile telephone number for bulk messages. Managers and selectors are asked to provide 24 hours notice for messages to be sent out. Key points are the match date, time, opposition and venue plus the meeting place and time.
The second semi-final of the Michael O Brien Senior Hurling trophy takes place on Saturday 13th March at 4.45pm. Croom are the visitors to Patrickswell and the winner shall face Ballybrown in the competition final. Ballybrown accounted for Adare in the first semi-final, which was played in front of a large crowd on a glorious sunny morning. A special word of thanks to those who helped with the club shop and served teas & coffees on the day.
The Patrickswell Under 14 hurlers begin their Feile campaign on Sunday morning at 11am at home in the first round. Best wishes to Ard Scoil Ris in the third instalment of their Harty Cup Final against Thurles CBS. The boys were inseparable again at 2-21 to 4-15 in the first replay. Third time lucky for Ard Scoil Ris, we hope! There is a Club Committee Meeting on Thursday 11th March at 8pm in the clubhouse.
