In the hurling league finals Patrickswell did the double winning both A & B finals, on Sunday evening last the Horse & Hound Mulgrave St. City Junior B Hurling League Final took place in Rhebogue were Claughaun put up a great battle but could not control the goal scoring power of the Well forwards in the end the Patrickswell ran out winners by 4-09 to Claughaun 1-11. The Gay Jones cup was presented to the Patrickswell team by Secretary of the City board Eamonn Phelan. On Monday evening in the Permanent TSB 24 Sarsfield St. City Junior A Hurling League Final in Clarina once again the Patrickswell club completed the double by winning this A league final when they recorded a three point win over neighbours Ballybrown 5-07 to 3-10 in a very entertaining junior hurling final the visitors Patrickswell were one point ahead at the break 2-04 to 2-03 but were always on top in this final the Ballybrown team never died and fought hard to clinch the victory but in the end the Boys for the Well took the victory in style.
